Forgetfulness - Billy Collins Animated Poetry

My beloved friend, Lulu, who is 94 1/2, is failing. She is still very much herself, but is so frail she is almost transparent. She has been having some days when she is very confused. It made me think of this Billy Collins poem, Forgetfullness, which is funny, but also touching.

I love the animations almost as much as the poems. The combination creates a marvelous art form. This is poetry I can appreciate.

That's how I feel, too. The poems are pretty light, though I like them. Somehow the animations add depth.
