An English Summer's Day?
It's official. It has been a month since our last sunny day. A sunny day is defined as a day which is sunny 80% of the daylight hours. Right now it's raining half-heartedly, as if it just can't work up the energy to really pour.
We used to jokingly call this warm wet weather an "English summer's day", except in England right now it's sunny and 86. This picture is from a year ago, but it's a lovely English garden on a lovely summer's day. So the joke doesn't apply.
