'Feral' Tomatoes
There are two healthy tomato plants growing from our compost bin. They self-started from the seeds of a tomato we tossed in the compost at some point. It always amuses me that we take such care of the plants in our garden, but the volunteers that just grown on their own, thrive anyway. It pretty much happens every year and we frequently get tomatoes from them.
