Jusst a couple of pictures of the newly painted kitchen, with the new island in the center. They aren't great pictures -lighting is tricky. I"m going to have the COG take some better ones.
Now all I need is a new counter depth fridge.

It looks splendid, even if the photos could be better (although I don't see that they could be)! So clean!
Would you share, for those of us in the midst, say, of kitchen design projects, the rough dimensions? In particular: length from fridge to stove, distance from sink to stove, distance from edge of counter to island (smallest). How tall is the island?
And a photo standing at sink looking out at the place where there used to be a wall?
I think it looks wonderful, I love the island, and I'm eager to see the view from the kitchen into the great room. Are those new countertops?
Yes, indeed, they are new granite countertops. Which have posed a problem, as there is a 1/4 inch gap between the counter and the bottom of the tile. I need to do something about the gap.
